This was a good day!

Henry's words today consisted of awesome, cool and this is the best day ever momma! We fulfilled one of his sweet little three year old dreams...he rode a "slinky bus"! He also had a great day at school where his job was the weather man! Boy that was super exciting! Then we rode the bus back downtown for a playdate and frozen yogurt...on the way back home was the super duper exciting slinky bus ride on the BLUE Chapel Hill buses! Henry loved watching what happened when the bus turned!

After all the excitement, he still had soccer!

I wonder who will sleep well tonight??? :)

Ice cream social

Sunday afternoon we had an ice cream social for Henry's school. We all had a great time! We just love his new school, and he does too!

Busy busy Saturday!

This past weekend was another soccer game...it is hilarious watching the little ones "click" and suddenly figure out what to do! Henry was super excited about his team shirt, and even though part of the game was played in the rain they had a great time! Saturday night was the super cooper event. www.supercooperswagon.org

We all had so much fun! There were games, food, running around and lots of dancing! The 80s cover band (The Breakfast Club) was really good! Apparently everyone who went to school in this area or Georgia, W&L, etc all remembered them from college! Only this time instead of dancing at a frat party, everyone was dancing with their children! :)

Go Guineas Go! Henry's first soccer game

So I am officially a "soccer mom"! Henry had his first soccer game yesterday! It was so much fun! He loved it, but he was tired after about 25 minutes of straight play time. They ended up calling the game early since most of the children felt the same way! It was so fun watching him run the field with his enormous smile! There was all of the usual first game excitement...making a goal in the wrong goal, kicking the ball out and playing on another field, etc. Anna loved watching her brother and made him a sign that said, "go Henry go, You are super". She saw a ton of her friends there, and she loved the "social" part of the soccer fields! It should be a fun season! So long lazy Saturday mornings! Hello soccer season!

Henry's first day of soccer and school

Henry started soccer yesterday afternoon...it was quite a sight! He loved it! We have his first game Saturday morning...should be super interesting! :)

Henry also finally made it to his first day of school this week after missing Tuesday and Thursday this week since he was sick! He had so much fun! They took him out of the car in the carpool line and he said "bye mommy" and was off! Sweet little boy!

Aunt Laura comes to visit!

Aunt Laura came to visit this past weekend! We had so much fun hanging out with her. It was so nice to have her here...poor thing was sick while she was here, but she was a trooper! We love you Laura! Thanks for coming to visit! xoxo

First day of tennis for Anna!

Anna had her first tennis lesson yesterday! She loved it. Afterwards, she was very interested in watching our neighbor play! She is awesome and ranked third in the US for under age 14! Wowza!

Anna is loving school! We are thrilled! :)

Henry went for a visit day at his new preschool...we love it! He was so excited to see his cubby, classroom, new friends and the playground. His teachers are incredible and we are looking forward to a great year! His first "real" day is Tuesday!
