Henry's 5th birthday party!

I am FIVE!!!

Henry had a super fun party at a local gymnastics place on Sunday afternoon.  Henry and all of his friends had so much fun doing an obstacle course, climbing, jumping and running around.  The favorite part for most was the "pit".  He loved celebrating with his friends!

Our sweet boy Henry turned 5 yesterday!  I can't believe it...5 just sounds way too old.  Poor boy was sick (double ear infections and a sinus infection) on his "real" birthday as he calls it, but we had some fun anyways.  He opened presents, played all day and we had a special outing to play games, bowl and ride go karts in the afternoon.  He wanted food from his favorite lunch spot, Merritt's, (which we did takeout since he was sick) and when they found out it was his birthday they sent a t-shirt home for him!  (Then know him by name and refer to me as "Henry's Mom")  He was thrilled...

After a rest time we was ready for our outing and his dinner of choice...PF Changs.  He ate more than he had eaten all week.  He loves edamame, dumplings and their chicken!  We saw his school director as well who knew it was his birthday!  He hugged us after dinner and said it was his best birthday ever.    Melt my heart! :)

Lately...

Lately we have been busy...the fall is flying by!  We were so proud of Chad winning a CIO of the year award for the triangle area last week!   It is nice for all of his hard work, long hours and our move here to be recognized outside the walls of his office!

A charity event that I had been working on was last weekend...and it was great.  I wish that I would have taken pictures!  It was a fun night for a great cause!

Anna and Henry have been busy with school, playdates, soccer, musical theater and gymnastics.  We definitely stay busy...but it is all fun!

NC State Fair

Yesterday we went to the NC state fair.  It was a fun day full of rides, food, games and the kids even milked a cow!
