Field trip to the North Carolina zoo

Yesterday we went on a field trip to the NC zoo! It was a fun trip and a beautiful zoo. Each child chose an animal to research and write about for a few weeks before the field trip. Anna chose elephants, and she was thrilled to see them at the zoo.

Henry's day at Camp New Hope

Henry had a great time with his class today at Camp New Hope! They loved hiking through the woods, playing outside, making a fish print (with a real fish) and collecting tadpoles and frogs. They did leave them there...thank goodness! It was a fun day!

Visit from Grandpa and Laine Laine

We had a great visit with Willis and Elaine this past weekend! We had a great time picking strawberries and making all kinds of treats with them. Anna and Henry also received special surprises from them...McKenna for Anna and a scooter for Henry. They were over the moon! Thanks for a great visit!
