Happy St.Patty's day

We hope that everyone is having a wonderful St.Patrick's Day. We are enjoying some gorgeous weather here! When I picked up Anna from school, she was thrilled that her face was painted, and she had an "Anna O'Smith" hat on. She has so much fun at her school! We are so thankful for it!

Henry and Anna are getting so big! They have such personalities, and they are so much fun. Anna is growing into such a big girl...I can't believe that she is about to be four. She loves music, dancing, reading books, playing babies and dollhouse, and having playdates with her friends. She is quite the social butterfly...we went to the park one day and she knew more people than Mommy and Daddy!

Henry has been busy expressing himself lately with his beaming smile, growing vocabulary, and sometimes mischievous behavior(with a melt your heart smile, of course!). I recently captured some hilarious Smith family moments...

Let's hope that he always thinks it is yucky!


The other night the TV was on ABC, and Anna was in the room. She was about ready for bed and noticed that Dancing with the Stars was on. She had never seen this show (because Mommy and Daddy think it is rather silly), but she was enamored. Somehow she noticed that all of the girl dancers wore high heels, and so she ran to her room and came back with some. She was doing her "cool moves" as the couples danced. It was quite entertaining!!!





The other day right after our beloved housekeeper had been here...literally she left an hour before, Henry decided to make a mess, and I mean MESS! He was eating snack in a bowl sitting on the kitchen floor while I worked on dinner. He decided to dump his snack on the floor, but the best part is that he also decided to clean it up. He ran off and grabbed his vacuum to "clean" the floor. Instead it just ground up the cheerios and goldfish, but he definitely got an "A" for effort! I ended up getting out the real vacuum, but Henry was incredibly proud of his work. It was hilarious!



It is hard for him to get into trouble when he is so CUTE!

Happy Mardi Gras and Nanny visits!

Anna had a wonderful time celebrating Fat Tuesday last week at school. They threw beads and coins in the car in carpool line! They had a great day at school. Nanny came to visit on that day too, and she stayed with us for a whole week! It was so much fun. We had a great visit. Thank you Nanny!

Happy Valentines and Tubes...

Happy Valentines Day everyone! Anna had a fun Valentines party at school to celebrate (complete with an enormous bag of treats!), and we celebrated Saturday with heart pancakes for breakfast and lunch out with Grandpa and Uncle Scott!

Henry had tubes put in his ears today, and it went really well. Poor little guy's ears were just a mess. The doctor said that they were the worse he had seen all day! I am hoping that this will help him out!

After his consult appointment, Henry had his first sugar-free lollipop! He is a huge fan!

Playing at home and Grandpa's Birthday

My poor kids have been sick at home for about 2 weeks now! YUCK! Anyways, they have been playing here and I had to put up a pic.

He really did keep the baby blanket(aka cape) on for quite a long time. Anna loves playing dress up and accessorizing!

Grandpa had his birthday this week as well, and they came over for cake. Anna and Henry had fun even though they weren't feeling too well.

Henry is 15 months old!

I can't believe that Henry is 15 months old. He is quite a busy boy!

Animals...horses and dogs mostly
His sister
Playing outside
Kicking a ball
Making baskets in the basketball goal
Being tickled
Blueberries and all fruit
Playing at Ms. Cami's mom and me class
Edamame

He does not love:
Shots
Dr.'s looking in his ears (we have had multiple ear infections)
When dinner time is over...the sweet boy loves to eat!
Getting his diaper changed

What a happy boy he is!
He is the 95% for height and the 50% for weight

Happy New Year!

Wow...we can't believe that it is 2009! We wish everyone health and happiness this year.

Anna started the new year with a new haircut, and Henry has just enjoyed playing with all of his new toys. Between his birthday and Christmas, he has gone from not really having many "boy" toys to having a ton! Thank you everyone!
