Painting in Paris for Anna's 7th birthday

We had a little Parisian themed "soiree" for Anna's 7th birthday this weekend! It was at a painting studio, and the girls (and Henry) all had a great time. They painted the eiffel tower on a canvas to take home!

There wasn't much of a table to set all of our goodies on, but oh well...it was a real artist's studio after all! I still think that everything came out cute and fun...isn't that what matters?

Anna was thrilled to give eiffel tower keychains (all the kids put keychains on their backpacks here) and iced cookies (that we made) to all her friends! It was a fun afternoon...

Yes, my girl loves the mud and the woods! This is a favorite activity after school...running around in the woods! Anna actually took off her pretty pink skirt and left on her little undershorts for some jumping in the mud! I had to hose them down before coming in the house!
These are all of Henry's friends from the neighborhood! They all meet up at pickup from Elementary and play! They are so funny!


We went to the circus in February with some friends! We had a great time!

Our weekend...

Lately we have been lucky to spend a TON of time outside. Henry and Anna have been playing in the woods, riding bikes, jumping rope and having tons of fun! Henry is super fast on his balance bike these days...I think that his training wheels will be gone soon. Anna has graduated to a bike with gears and hand brakes, and she couldn't be more thrilled. All of the girls in the neighborhood are really into jumping rope. In fact, Anna carries a jump rope with her everywhere!

Henry starts soccer again this week, and Anna will be playing tennis! Yay for Spring!

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentine's Day! We had a busy day! Anna had a small class party in the morning, and Henry had a teddy bear picnic for lunch! Then he wanted to deliver some extra Valentines to his neighborhood friends! He was so excited this year! Anna had a great day back at school! She had been out for over a week with a fever for 6 days straight!!! Thank goodness she is better!

Anna went to her friend's rock star party the other day. She decided to dress up/pretend to be Selena Gomez. She had a ball!

Laura, Camille, Larry, Lawrence and Cameron drove all the way from Austin to visit us!






We just returned from a great trip to Houston! We had so much fun, and enjoyed seeing everyone. Anna and Henry were super sad not to see their cousins since they were sick, but we will see them next time!

Fun Visitors!

Our friends from Seattle came to visit for the day Monday! We all had a fun time visiting, and the girls loved having a "half sleepover" with all of their American Girl dolls!
