We had all sorts of end of school activities for the last week! It was BUSY, but fun...
Here are a few of the highlights:
Class play and individual presentations. (Anna's presentation was about her research on Elephants. All her classmates chose an animal, researched and made slides for the smart board to present. It was impressive!) Beach day, crazy hair day, field day, etc...
They had a scavenger hunt in our little "town" that ended at Tutti Fruitti! Yummy!
Goodbye first grade!
We made a sign for Anna...Henry taped it on the front door with his favorite toy of all...painters tape!
I am somewhat in shock that we now have a second grader. Wow, that sounds old! Anna had a good year, but she was ready for summer. The other night before dinner when we were saying our blessing she said, "Thank you God that school is almost over, so we can all have fun and rest!" She couldn't have expressed my feelings better...HA! Summer has started...no resting involved, but lots of fun at least!
