Trip to Little Rock!

We had a great, quick trip to Little Rock last week!  It was so fun seeing family and a few friends.  We missed seeing Yaya and Big Daddy, but it was great to spend Gigi's 86th birthday with her!

By the way...we drove!  It was a LONG drive.  We stopped in Asheville on the way and saw my cousin, Mark and his cool music store!  We just pushed through the way home and made it without many stops!  Thank goodness our kids are such great car riders...they are troopers!

Happy 4th of July!

This year we hosted a 4th of July party with some fun friends!  Chad smoked a TON of pork and chicken, and we all worked together to have a great party!  We ended up having about 100 people...crazy, I know!  Anna, Henry and I made star cutout cookies and used the extra glace on some rice crispy treats.  Everyone brought a side for the bbq, and all of the food was delicious!

Summer Fun!

Anna was first in her heat!  She was so excited!

We have been having a lot of fun this summer!  Swim team has kept us busy...practice everyday and meets most every week.  Both Anna and Henry had a ball at Vacation Bible School, and we have had fun with friends as well.  Yay for summer!!!
