Polar Bear Plunge in Houston

Henry decided to do a polar bear plunge in Houston last week.  Of course Anna had to do it as well!  Henry thought it was fun, Anna…not so much!  We were able to spend time with Nana before our trip to Costa Rica!  It was a lot of fun!

Trip to Greenville, SC

This past weekend we went to Greenville to visit Sara and her family!  We had a great time…it isn't surprising that Anna and her daughter, Ava, are fast friends…we only saw them when they wanted something to eat!  They played non-stop!  Anna is already planning for Ava to come and stay with us for a week this summer!  I guess it isn't surprising since Sara and I were instant best friends when we met many years ago!

Merry merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year!  We celebrated at home and then we went to our dear friends house for dinner and lots of fun!  We are so thankful to have such great friends here!

Christmas Eve

This year we actually got a family picture on Christmas eve!  We never seem to get those!  We had a wonderful night at candlelight service at church and a wonderful dinner at  home!

Cookie Party

We had our annual cookie decorating/exchange party this year.  It was a lot of fun!  Cookies, crafts and photo booth for girls while the moms mingled!  One of our cameras broke and so we didn't get many pictures…

Christmas Pageant

Our children participated in the Christmas pageant at church again this year.  It was so sweet to see them.  Henry was so excited to be able to do the hand bells as an angel.  Anna was a lamb, and she had a ball as well.  It is always such a wonderful part of the season.  Definitely one of my favorite things...
