Henry is 18 months!

Henry turned 18 months this week! He is getting to be such a big boy! He weighs 26 pounds 5 ounces and is 34 inches tall. That is the 50% weight and the 90% height!

We have been having TONS of work done to our backyard, and there has been a lot of mud around our house. He LOVES the mud...

Disney on Ice

Today we went to Disney on Ice with our friends Jana and Lilly! It was so much fun. The ice skaters were really good, and Anna enjoyed clapping and watching all of them. Her favorite was probably Ariel and all of the mermaid sisters. She also loved seeing Peter Pan fly above us. It was so much fun! We went to lunch afterwards to complete our great girls outing! Thank you Jana and Lilly!

Daddy and Henry had a good time having a boys day at home depot, the car wash and lunch with Uncle Scott and Grandpa at Brownings. (Daddy goes there everytime Mommy isn't around because I don't like the place!)

PS...I didn't have my good camera, because I was unsure if that kind was allowed. The pics from the actual performance are a little hard to see. I will upload a video soon!

Anna's school program

Today was Anna's school program. It was wonderful! We had so much fun watching her perform all of their songs. They sang quite a few with hand motions and props! Ms.Dona told Chad and I that Anna really is a shining star in music class...she really loves singing and knows all of the words. I thought that it was a really nice compliment! Anna has had a great year at school, and she has really made some sweet friends. I have enjoyed getting to know all of the parents as well! Anna is on the back row towards the right side with the big pink bow! After the program, there were refreshments. Anna shared with Henry! Anna's sweet girlfriends from her class. Brackett, Anna, Lawler and Lilly Jett and Anna...they have been friends since they were little! Cole and Anna (another great friend for a long time, and they were in the same class this year!) Happy Easter

We had a wonderful day today celebrating Easter with family. The Easter bunny came this morning, and we hunted eggs. We went to church and then came home to have Easter lunch! It is a little hard getting everything ready at once for lunch with two little ones running around, but we did it! Anna and Henry had a great day. We had been to two egg hunts this week at friend's houses and Henry wasn't very into it, but this morning he LOVED hunting eggs! Anna was thrilled as well. We hope that everyone had a joyous Easter sunday.

Princess Anna's Birthday Party

Anna had a wonderful birthday party at The Wonder Place on Sunday! She had so much fun! So many of her friends were able to help her celebrate! I think that we had about 29 kids plus at least one parent per child, some had two! I was thankful we weren't in my house! The Wonder Place is similar to a children's museum in that there are a lot of different areas to play in. It was actually designed by the person that did the children's museum in Chicago! The kids played instruments, dressed up, did puppet shows, water table, sand table, shopped, were chefs, vets and so much more. One of Anna's favorite activities was making crowns in the craft room.

Anna's cake looked like Cinderella's castle, but most importantly the icing really sparkled! It was hilarious watching Anna and all of her friends. Henry enjoyed the party as well. HE WAS WILD!

Happy Birthday Anna!

I cannot believe that Anna is 4 today. My how time flies!!! It seems like just yesterday (in some ways and in other ways not) that we were moving from Japan to Little Rock, and we were about to have our first child. Anna has been an absolute joy to us, and she is really growing into such a wonderful young girl.

Anna loves:

Playing outside
Playing princesses, babies, dollhouse and reading books
Clothes, shoes and accessories
Nightgowns and pajamas
Going mudding, dude!
Asking questions, sometimes extremely challenging ones!
beef tenderloin, green beans, broccoli, asparagus, hummus, caprese salad (We will have most of those tonight for her B-day dinner)

Anna has such a strong personality, and I know that this will push her to do amazing things in her future. She is bright and vivacious, with a little drama (as any girl should have). Her teacher says that she lights up the classroom, and she definitely lights up our world! We are so proud of her, and we still can't believe that she is already four years old! We love her so much!
