Happy Birthday Henry!

Henry is 4 today! I can't believe my baby boy is so old! :) Henry loves lots of things right now...here are a few:

Henry's DINO-MITE birthday party!

We had Henry's birthday party at the Museum of Life and Science here on Sunday! It was a gorgeous, fun-filled day celebrating our sweet boy! He had a ball! I think that the pictures can tell the story! Word of warning...there are a ton of pics! :)

Here is our cool museum educator who read a story about dinosaurs and taught a small lesson! Henry saw that replica of a dino tooth, and he said "Get a picture of this Daddy!"



Next up, exploring how long the longest dinosaur that lived was.

A week of thanks

This week started off super fun...I went to a private shopping night Sunday with personal shoppers and some friends, and then the Monday routine started!

Long story short, after a VERY scary two days with Chad in the hospital, I learned quite a few things...

First and foremost, Chad is going to be ok! Just a few more tests, but I have faith that everything will be okay.

We are so lucky to have family and friends that are amazing! Of course we always knew our families were amazing :) , but it has been such a positive experience here. We had so many friends come to our aid this week and show their caring for our family. It is such a community feel here, and I was in awe and inspired...it doesn't seem as if we have only known these friends for a year! I feel so thankful.

We are lucky to have UNC hospital less than two miles from our house.

I am just thankful... Now a few more prayers and good thoughts for a biopsy that will hopefully take place this week, but I really think that it will be fine. I also hope that this medicine Chad is on will continue to help his symptoms.

We ended our week with another fun Sunday at the Life and Science museum pumpkin train ride! Another reason to give thanks!

This past weekend Henry scored his first goal! He was so thrilled!

Anna's field trip

Today I helped chaperone Anna's field trip to the Life and Science Museum! It was such a fun time! I just love that place. We were able to see a lot of the exhibits, and it was a gorgeous day for outdoor exploration.

Happy Anniversary!

It is our 9 year anniversary today! I feel so lucky to be married to my best friend and love...we have been around the world and back (more than a few times), and I know that we have many more adventures to come! I love you! xoxo
